As a Veterinary Imaging Technician at Ethos Veterinary Health, you will play a crucial role in delivering high-quality diagnostic imaging services for our patients. Our AAHA accredited facility is dedicated to providing exceptional referral services across various specialties, including emergency and critical care, oncology, and more.
Key Responsibilities:
In this role, you will be responsible for:
- Executing CT scans based on clinician directives to capture diagnostic images of canine and feline patients.
- Adjusting imaging parameters and ensuring proper patient positioning.
- Collaborating with clinicians to enhance scan techniques for superior image quality.
- Reviewing relevant medical records to support patient care and imaging requests.
- Maintaining a sterile and safe CT environment by controlling access and disinfecting equipment between patients.
- Conducting routine quality assurance checks on CT equipment and promptly reporting any issues.
- Staying updated on the latest trends in CT technology through continuing education and certification.
- Performing additional duties as assigned.
Compensation:
Compensation for this position is competitive and varies based on experience and skill level:
- Veterinary Assistant: $17-$24 per hour
- Registered Veterinary Technician (RVT): $23-$33 per hour
Candidate Profile:
The ideal candidate will possess:
- A minimum of 2 years of clinical experience in a veterinary setting.
- The ability to thrive in a collaborative environment and build lasting relationships with colleagues and clients.
- A positive attitude and strong communication and organizational skills.
- A commitment to providing outstanding client service.
Work Schedule:
This is a full-time position with a 4/10 work schedule.
