Berkshire Family and Individual Resources (BFAIR) is seeking a skilled Relief Developmental Specialist to join our team in our Day Habilitation Program.
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide direct support to individuals with developmental disabilities in a site-based day program on a per diem basis.
- Assist with skills training, including independent living skills, communication, behavior and affective development, sensory-motor and social development, and self-help as prescribed in each member's Day Habilitation Service Plan.
- Work collaboratively with a team to ensure high-quality services and support.
Requirements:
- Must be 18 years of age or older.
- College degree preferred.
- One year of experience working with individuals with mental retardation/developmental disabilities and a high school diploma/GED required.
- Valid driver's license and ready access to a vehicle required.
- Must meet standards outlined in Safe Driver Policy.
