Job Title: Senior Control Systems Engineer-DeltaV

We are seeking a highly skilled Senior Control Systems Engineer-DeltaV to join our team at Control Associates Inc. in Allendale, NJ.

Job Summary:

The successful candidate will be responsible for designing, implementing, and maintaining large-scale control systems using DeltaV technology. This role will involve working closely with our engineering team to deliver high-quality solutions to our clients in the Life Sciences, Natural Gas Distribution & Transmission, HVAC, Power, Chemical, and Downstream Hydrocarbons industries.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Design and implement control systems using DeltaV technology
  • Develop and maintain project documentation
  • Review and approve project design drawings
  • Configure control system databases
  • Perform factory acceptance testing
  • Assist with project planning, scheduling, documentation, and invoicing
  • Maintain training certification for DeltaV and other control system platforms
Requirements:
  • Bachelor's Degree in Engineering or related field
  • 4+ years' experience in DeltaV configuration and continuous or batch process control systems
  • Industry standards knowledge (ISA S88, GAMP5, 21CFR11)
  • Ability to read P&IDs, Instrumentation and Controls wiring diagrams
  • Site start-up experience and/or Site process equipment support experience
  • Troubleshooting of process and/or process equipment
  • Excellent Communications skills
Preferred Qualifications:
  • Pharma/Life Sciences industry experience
  • Qualification experience
  • Working knowledge of databases (SQL, Historians, querying)
  • Industry standard factory floor communication protocols
  • User Requirements Specifications (URS), General Design Specifications (GDS), Detailed Design Specifications (DDS), Functional Requirements Specifications (FRS)
