Marketing Business Development Specialist

The Marketing Representative is a key member of the MSIG North America team, responsible for developing and retaining business within Mitsui Sumitomo Marine Management. This role requires collaboration with internal teams to address customers' needs and deliver exceptional customer service, driving business growth and adding value to the bottom line.
Key Responsibilities:
Establish and maintain direct customer and broker relationships to identify new business opportunities and provide customer support.
Develop and implement marketing plans to achieve profitable growth, including establishing marketing goals and collaborating with Underwriting to achieve loss ratio and renewal retention goals.
Analyze market trends and provide feedback to Underwriting and Management to inform pricing strategy and product development.
Ensure effective control of marketing results and implement corrective actions to achieve business plan goals.
Requirements:
High School Diploma or GED required; Bachelor's degree preferred with an emphasis on Business, Management, or Economics.
5+ years of experience in marketing or sales, with a strong customer service orientation and fluency in English and Japanese.
Previous property & casualty insurance experience is strongly preferred.
