Job Summary:
The Ambulatory Nurse is a key member of our team at Dayton Children's Hospital, providing high-quality patient care and contributing to a positive work environment.
Responsibilities:
- Performs treatments, administers medications, and assists with procedures while maintaining a safe and clean environment.
- Collaborates with the healthcare team to develop and implement individualized care plans.
- Provides patient and family education to promote health outcomes and empowerment.
- Delegates and evaluates healthcare tasks to assistive personnel, ensuring seamless care delivery.
- Advocates for each patient's unique needs and preferences, promoting a patient-centered approach.
Requirements:
- Graduation from an accredited program of nursing.
- Registered Nursing license in the State of Ohio.
- Commitment to obtaining a Bachelor's of Science in Nursing within 5 years of hire.
