Certified Patient Care Assistant

Job Summary:
Assist the nursing team in providing high-quality, patient-centered care to pediatric patients. Responsible for performing various tasks, including vital sign measurements, patient transport, and assisting with activities of daily living.
Responsibilities:
- Provide exceptional patient care by assisting with daily living activities, such as bathing, grooming, and feeding.
- Take vital signs, including temperature, pulse, and blood pressure, and record them accurately.
- Transport patients safely and efficiently throughout the hospital.
- Assist the nursing team with tasks, such as changing bed linens, restocking supplies, and maintaining a clean and safe environment.
- Communicate effectively with patients, families, and healthcare team members to ensure seamless care coordination.
Requirements:
- High School Diploma or equivalent required.
- Certified Patient Care Assistant (CPA) or Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) certification preferred.
- 1-2 years of experience in a healthcare setting, preferably in pediatrics.
- CPR certification required within 2 weeks of hire date.
