Job Summary:

We are seeking a skilled Pediatric Nurse to join our team at Dayton Children's Hospital. As a Clinical Nurse, you will provide professional nursing care to patients and their families, utilizing the standards of care and the standards of professional performance outlined by the American Nurses Association and the Ohio Board of Nursing.

Responsibilities:

- Provide competent nursing care based on a documented assessment of the patient/family needs and the hospital mission.
- Interact with an interdisciplinary team to promote the optimal health potential of the patient and family.
- Promote a patient and family experience-oriented environment and act as a change agent to meet the rapidly changing census and needs of all customers-both internal and external.

Requirements:

- Commitment to obtain Bachelors of Science in Nursing within 5 years of hire.
- Graduation from an accredited program of nursing.
- Registered Nursing license in State of Ohio.

Department Specific Job Details:

- Part time, 24 hours.
- Night, shift, 7p - 7a.
- 2 (12) hr shifts.
- Eligible for shift differential.
- Weekend and holiday rotation.

Education Requirements:

- Associates: Nursing (Required).

Certification/License Requirements:

- [Lic] RN: Registered Nurse (RN) - Ohio Board of Nursing, CPR: Cardio-Pulmonary Resuscitation - American Heart Association.
