Job Summary

Dayton Children's Hospital is seeking a highly skilled pediatric gastroenterologist with expertise in neurogastroenterology and motility to join our team. This is an excellent opportunity for an experienced physician to develop leadership and quality improvement skills within our division and institution.

Department Overview

The GI division at Dayton Children's is composed of 9 pediatric gastroenterologists, 2 pediatric nurse practitioners, 1 physician assistant, 3 registered dieticians, nurses, and support staff. We see over 11,000 outpatient visits per year at four sites and perform more than 2,700 endoscopic and motility procedures annually.

We work closely with our pediatric, surgical, pathology, and radiology colleagues throughout the hospital, as well as with our home care team and primary care physicians in our area.


Responsibilities

  1. Provide expert care to pediatric patients with neurogastroenterology and motility needs.
  2. Develop and implement quality improvement projects to enhance patient care and outcomes.
  3. Collaborate with our multidisciplinary team to provide comprehensive care to our patients.

Requirements

We are seeking a board-certified pediatric gastroenterologist with expertise in neurogastroenterology and motility. The ideal candidate will have a strong clinical background, excellent communication skills, and the ability to work effectively in a team-based environment.
