Responsibilities encompass performing preventative maintenance on our security products and executing service calls, site assessments, installation startups, system commissioning, and customer training.
Key Responsibilities:
- Conduct preventative maintenance on electronic and physical security systems.
- Install and route wiring according to specifications.
- Set up and connect electronic devices utilized in security systems.
- Manage all installation tools and job parts inventory.
- Test all installed or serviced equipment to ensure compliance with customer requirements.
- Provide project status updates to management as necessary.
- Communicate with clients regarding job progress or completion.
- Perform site assessments as requested by management.
- Complete and submit all required documentation promptly, including timesheets and expense reports.
- Travel for extended periods when required.
- Organize and maintain assigned vehicle inventory.
- Safeguard all company or customer property entrusted to you.
- Follow purchasing procedures using the database system and obtain supervisor approval for necessary products.
- Maintain a clean and organized vehicle.
- Ensure vehicle maintenance meets established standards.
- Maintain a clean driving record and adhere to safe driving practices.
- Train less experienced employees on company procedures and techniques.
- Ensure all work meets company quality standards.
- Perform additional related duties as assigned.
- Comply with all Federal and State safety regulations.
Qualifications:
- High School Diploma or GED equivalent is required.
- Minimum of 1 year of experience in electronics or a related field.
- Valid driver's license with a clean driving record.
- Familiarity with security equipment such as alarm systems and access control is preferred.
- Customer service experience is advantageous.
- Ability to travel as needed.
- Physical ability to lift and move heavy equipment as required.
