Maintenance Technician Job Summary
We are seeking a skilled Maintenance Technician to join our team at Michael Kors. As a Maintenance Technician, you will be responsible for performing routine maintenance on our facility and conveyor systems.
Key Responsibilities:
- Perform routine maintenance on electrical, mechanical, and electronic components
- Assemble and test basic electrical, mechanical, and electronic components
- Conduct daily system walks to identify potential issues
- Monitor Sorter to ensure processes are running and the system is operating normally
- Perform general building maintenance including electrical, plumbing, painting, and mechanical
Requirements:
- Electrical and Mechanical Knowledge
- Basic troubleshooting Skills
- Vocational training or 1-2 years' experience working in an industrial environment
- HS diploma or equivalent
Physical Demands:
- Able to lift up to 50 pounds – Proper lifting techniques required
- Able to perform manual work, i.e., bending, reaching, standing, walking, and stooping for extended periods of time
