We are seeking a highly skilled Specimen Collector to join our team at Med Screen Laboratories Inc. The successful candidate will be responsible for collecting and organizing blood, tissue, and other bodily fluid samples from patients, preparing samples for routine testing and analysis, and maintaining a clean work environment.
Key Responsibilities:
- Collect and process medical specimens from patients
- Prepare samples for laboratory testing and analysis
- Record and track specimen results for easy reference
- Monitor inventory levels and maintain a clean and organized workspace
- Work under the supervision of a medical technologist
Requirements:
- Previous experience as a clinical technician or in a related field
- Familiarity with medical terminology and laboratory procedures
- Strong organizational and communication skills
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
Work Schedule:
The Specimen Collector will work a variable schedule, including Monday and Friday mornings in Clinton, NJ, and Monday and Wednesday afternoons in Glen Gardner. A minimum of 25-30 hours per week is guaranteed.
