Job Summary:

As a Clinical Coordinator for the Surgery Room at AdventHealth, you will play a vital role in ensuring the smooth operation of our surgical department. This is an exciting opportunity to join a team of dedicated professionals who are passionate about delivering exceptional patient care.

Key Responsibilities:

• Actively support the department director/manager by coordinating clinical and department activities for the unit, including shift charge, department, and/or service line.

• Ensure that care is delivered to each patient in accordance with quality standards, acting as a liaison between physicians and the patient care team.

• Maintain communication and promote cooperation with unit staff and other departments, supervising staff and authorizing work procedures and assigning duties.

• Provide input and recommendations to the director/manager on coaching, mentoring, and performance management of associates, promoting the optimal health, well-being, and safety of patients through the use of the nursing process and in accordance with patient care standards, guidelines, and the State Nurse Practice Act.

Requirements:

• Associate Degree in Nursing

• One year of OR RN experience

• RN license to practice in CO or KS as applicable

• Basic Life Support through the American Heart Association
