RN Clinical Coordinator ED Observation Position

CommonSpirit Health Mountain Region is seeking a skilled RN Clinical Coordinator to join our team in the Emergency Department Observation unit at St. Anthony Hospital. As a Clinical Nurse Coordinator, you will play a vital role in coordinating clinical and department activities, ensuring high-quality care delivery to each patient.
This is a fast-paced environment where you can practice to the top of your profession in trauma, cardiology, stroke, neurosciences, breast imaging, cancer/oncology care, surgery, and more. Our team is committed to delivering safe, quality care to every patient in a timely manner.
Responsibilities of the Clinical Nurse Coordinator- Act as a vital link between physicians and the patient care team to facilitate seamless communication and collaboration.
- Maintain communication and promote cooperation with unit staff and other departments.
- Provide input and recommendations to the director/manager on coaching, mentoring, and performance management of associates.
- Assume responsibility and accountability for facilitating, communicating, and collaborating with both the healthcare team and the patient/family to identify and meet the physical, emotional, and spiritual needs of the patient.
In addition to bringing humankindness to the workplace each day, qualified candidates will need the following:
- Associates Degree in Nursing (Nursing Diploma or by endorsement) required
- BSN, preferred
- CO RN License to practice in state of employment as applicable, required
- Nursing Specialty Certification, preferred
- Minimum of 1 year of direct clinical experience as a Registered Nurse
Located in Lakewood, Colorado, St. Anthony Hospital is a Level I Trauma Center where we provide a full range of medical specialties and healthcare services to Denver and the surrounding region through our state-of-the-art medical campus and home base for Flight For Life Colorado.
