Medical Imaging Specialist

Job Summary:
Surgery Partners is seeking a skilled Medical Imaging Specialist to join our team. As a Medical Imaging Specialist, you will be responsible for performing fluoroscopic procedures for the treatment of patients of all age groups, utilizing the guidelines of the professional radiology practice standards.
Key Responsibilities:
- Perform fluoroscopic procedures for the treatment of patients of all age groups.
- Utilize the guidelines of the professional radiology practice standards.
- Responsible for all duties related to imaging patient care, file room, general clerical, physician assistance, and other related duties necessary for complete patient outcomes in the outpatient surgery department.
- Operate and maintain modern radiologic equipment.
- Prepare solutions for processing films.
- Develop, make copies, and fix x-ray films of parts of the human body for use in diagnosing medical problems.
- Maintain equipment and quarters.
Requirements:
- Successful completion of a two-year training program in radiologic technology approved by the Council on Medical Education and Hospitals of the American Medical Association, in collaboration with the American College of Radiology.
- Knowledge of modern radiologic equipment and techniques.
- Ability to communicate effectively at a level required for successful job performance.
- Ability to work overtime as required.
