Role Summary:
The Hospice Nursing Team Leader collaborates with the Executive Administrator and Clinical Operations Director to oversee patient care activities, ensuring adherence to nursing standards, regulatory requirements, and payer guidelines.
- Accountable for compliance with hospice policies and local, state, and federal regulations.
- Proactively promotes quality care and safety for both patients and staff.
- Engages in comprehensive problem-solving and complaint resolution.
- Conducts training sessions for staff to enhance patient health and safety, familiarize them with regulatory standards, and address educational needs.
- A minimum of 4 years of full-time experience as a Registered Nurse or equivalent is required.
Licensure Requirements:
- Current RN licensure in the applicable state with at least one year of clinical experience.
- Valid CPR Certification.
- Possession of a current driver's license, valid vehicle insurance, and access to reliable transportation.
