About the Role

We are seeking a highly motivated and customer-focused Counter Sales Associate to join our team at Homans Associates, a subsidiary of Watsco, Inc. As a key member of our sales team, you will be responsible for providing exceptional customer service and driving sales growth in our Wilmington, MA location.

Key Responsibilities
  • Sell heating, ventilation, and air conditioning (HVAC) equipment, parts, and supplies to customers
  • Provide expert advice on product selection and features, and demonstrate the use of merchandise
  • Maintain a clean and organized showroom, and ensure a positive customer experience
  • Use computer databases to research availability of merchandise and fill customer orders
  • Process sales orders, quotes, and returns, and resolve customer concerns
  • Work collaboratively with warehouse staff to ensure efficient order fulfillment
Requirements
  • High school diploma or equivalent required
  • Previous HVAC experience and knowledge of warehouse operations
  • Excellent customer service and communication skills
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and meet sales targets
  • Basic algebra skills and ability to calculate figures and amounts
