Job Summary

Rush Enterprises is seeking a highly motivated and results-driven Truck Sales Representative to join our team. As a key member of our sales team, you will be responsible for soliciting truck sales business within an assigned territory, building and maintaining relationships with customers, and driving sales success.

Key Responsibilities
  • Self-generate prospective customers and business opportunities through regular sales calls and follow-ups.
  • Manage a portfolio of 10-50 assigned key accounts, including retail accounts, and maintain relationships within the assigned territory.
  • Utilize Microsoft CRM to manage accounts, contacts, and sales interactions, documenting all communications and business interactions on a weekly basis.
  • Coordinate service work, such as PDI, miscellaneous add-ons, and repairs, with the service department, and ensure accurate information and paperwork are provided to the Finance and Insurance Departments.
  • Self-generate prospective truck warranties, RushCare Contract Maintenance, and RushCare telematics sales, taking the initiative to identify customers' overall business needs.
Requirements
  • High school diploma or general education degree (GED).
  • One year related experience and/or training, or equivalent combination of education and experience.
  • Valid driver's license and insurability according to Rush insurance requirements.
  • Regular vehicle travel within assigned territory.
  • Meet Account Management, Productivity, and Performance requirements as outlined in the New Truck Personnel System and Standardization Framework.
