- Diagnose, repair, and inspect fire alarm systems, burglar alarms, access control systems, monitoring systems, and nurse call systems.
- Provide recommendations for system installations and maintenance services.
- Maintain a safe and organized work environment, including the upkeep of company vehicles, adhering to safety protocols.
- Work independently while ensuring high-quality workmanship.
- Exhibit excellent customer service and professional communication with clients.
- Follow both verbal and written instructions, ensuring accurate documentation of work performed.
- Utilize basic hand tools and possess knowledge of trade-specific tools.
- High school diploma or equivalent required.
- Valid driver's license with a clean driving record for at least five years.
- A minimum of three years of experience in the installation, service, testing, troubleshooting, and programming of fire alarm systems.
- Strong understanding of fire alarm products, access control systems, and CCTV technologies.
- Familiarity with NFPA 72, NFPA 70, and current industry standards.
- Applicants must meet the minimum qualifications and pass a pre-employment drug screening and background check.
- Eight-hour shifts, Monday through Friday.
- Rotating on-call shifts for service department roles.
Hourly rate: $34.00
Physical DemandsThis role involves frequent walking, standing, bending, and reaching. Candidates must be able to climb ladders and scaffolds, and work at heights exceeding 40 feet. The position requires navigating job sites and adhering to all safety regulations. Heavy lifting of objects up to 50 lbs. is necessary.
