About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Staff Software Engineer to join our dynamic team in the Workday Recruiting Space. As a key member of our Enterprise People Technology team, you will play a critical role in developing and implementing innovative solutions to drive business growth and improve customer experiences.

Key Responsibilities
  • Design, develop, and deploy high-quality software solutions using Workday technologies, including PGP/SSH key management, Workday Studio, custom reports, EIBs, Document Transformation, Core Connectors, Web Services, etc.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to understand requirements and develop solutions that meet business needs.
  • Participate in code reviews and provide constructive feedback to peers to ensure high-quality code and best practices.
  • Troubleshoot and resolve software-related issues in a timely and efficient manner.
  • Implement effective and innovative solutions to complex technical problems, leveraging your expertise in software development methodologies and processes.
  • Stay updated on emerging technologies and apply them into operations and activities to drive business growth and improve customer experiences.
Requirements
  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
  • Proven experience as a Software Engineer, preferably in the Workday Recruiting space.
  • Excellent knowledge of software development methodologies and processes.
  • Strong programming skills in languages like Java, Python, or C++.
  • Proficient in using Workday and other related software.
  • Demonstrated problem-solving abilities and excellent debugging skills.
  • Strong communication skills, both verbal and written.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and manage multiple tasks simultaneously.
  • Energized and highly motivated to move quickly and accomplish a lot.
  • A deep commitment to collaborative problem solving, sophisticated design, and quality product is essential.
  • Ability to thrive in a dynamic, fast-paced, entrepreneurial environment.
  • Strong critical thinking skills, demonstrating the ability to analyze situations and provide recommendations based on a variety of factors.
