Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled Substance Use Disorder Professional to join our team at Supreme Living. As a key member of our staff, you will be responsible for conducting substance use disorder assessments and formulating recommendations.

Key Responsibilities
  • Assessment and Treatment Planning: Conduct comprehensive assessments utilizing diagnostic materials, interpret assessment results, and make treatment recommendations.
  • Coordination and Collaboration: Coordinate with the resident's Treatment Team and implementation of recommendations, as well as coordinate with community SUD treatment providers in securing treatment services for residents.
  • Resource Provision and Referral: Provide resource information and referrals to assist residents in developing community support systems.
  • Treatment Team Participation: Participate in Treatment Team meetings as requested.
  • Charting and Documentation: Responsible for accurate and timely charting in ECP using accepted abbreviations and terminology, and complete documentation as required.
Qualifications and Requirements
  • Education and Licensure: Must have an Associate's degree in addiction studies and meet the Washington State Department of Health (DOH) requirements for a qualified Substance Use Disorder Professional.
  • Experience and Skills: Must meet health requirements, i.e. - flu vaccination, COVID-19 boosters, tb testing - per licensing requirements, CPR/First Aid Certified, and valid Washington State Driver's License required or the equivalent if residence in Washington is new.
  • Communication and Teamwork: Participates in staff meetings and in-services training, consults with Nursing staff, Mental Health staff or peers when knowledge base in a given area needs to be expanded, and demonstrates accountability regarding equipment and supplies.
Language Skills
  • English Proficiency: Proficient in English, with the ability to read, research, analyze, and interpret common scientific and technical information pertinent to job requirements.
  • Communication and Presentation: Ability to respond to common inquiries or complaints from customers, regulatory agencies, or members of the business community, and effectively present information to management and public groups.
Work Environment

The employee will work in a residential setting, with occasional performance of job duties outside, in medical settings, and in the presence of non-employees, such as patients, families and state officials. There is a possibility of exposure to disease and contagions that could cause a cold, flu, COVID-19, and other illnesses.
