Job Summary

We are seeking an experienced and skilled Office Administrator to join our team at Vanguard GMC of Carrollton. As a key member of our operations team, you will be responsible for ensuring the smooth day-to-day functioning of our dealership's administrative processes.

Key Responsibilities

  • Accounting and Financial Management
    • Train and develop accounting staff to ensure accurate and timely financial reporting.
    • Enforce accounting processes and protect the business interests of the owners.
    • Prepare standard entries and records to ensure accurate accruals.
    • Ensure balance sheet adjustments are made to reflect actual inventory balances.
  • Administrative Support
    • Prepare weekly, semimonthly, and monthly balance sheet reconciliations.
    • Review daily, weekly, and monthly schedules for accuracy and completeness.
    • Update ledgers daily, weekly, and monthly to agree with the manufacturers' changes to financial statements.
  • Dealership Operations
    • Clean, book, bill, and post all deals daily.
    • Prepare month, quarter, and annual federal and state required reports and taxes.
    • Prepare extended warranty and credit electronic transfers and payments.
  • Qualifications
    • Associate or bachelor's degree from a two or four-year college or university.
    • Automotive experience required.
    • General Motors franchise dealer experience preferred.
    • Experience using Microsoft Excel, Microsoft Word, and Microsoft Outlook.
    • Professional presentation and punctual nature.
    • Ability to handle schedule flexibility.
    • Knowledge and understanding of the Vanguard Privacy and Information Security Policies.
