Regional Sales Manager

At Sonitrol Great Lakes, we are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Regional Sales Manager to lead our sales team and drive revenue growth. As a key member of our leadership team, you will be responsible for developing and implementing sales strategies to meet or exceed business sales production plans.
Key Responsibilities:
- Provides leadership, coaching, and support to maximize potential in achieving monthly, quarterly, and annual sales targets with an 8-person sales team spanning 2 states, Michigan and IL.
- Builds and develops a high-performing sales and support teams with recruiting, hiring, mentoring, coaching, and training that result in increased performance and achievement of planned business results.
- Conducts 1:1 sales funnel reviews and weekly team meetings and training.
- Identifies, coordinates, and facilitates gap training that will enhance the ability of the sales team members to increase attainment of the company goals.
- Proactively manages all open deals in support of sales representatives with solutions knowledge coaching.
- Participates in meetings and presentations to support or close strategic or high-value sales.
- Supports attrition initiatives to support the team in reaching their attrition goal.
Requirements:
- Successful background in outside business development, sales leadership, and people development experience.
- At least two years of successful individual contributor level sales experience with full-cycle sales responsibilities and two years of managing and leading a sales team.
- Highly motivated, target-driven with a proven track record using a consistent sales process.
- Highly competitive, a 'refuse to lose' mentality.
- Strong strategic skills and high business acumen.
- Openness to coaching and feedback.
- Strong desire to coach sales representatives.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Excellent sales and customer service skills with proven negotiation skills.
- Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail.
- Proficient with Microsoft Office Suite and CRM tools.
