Job Overview

The Multi-Market Support Specialist I plays a crucial role in the preparation of comparative analysis spreadsheets utilizing census and employer group data. This essential information is gathered from RFP/RFQ submissions and subsequent quotes, incorporating insights from various stakeholders, including carriers, Multi-Market Analysts, sales consultants, colleagues, and brokers.

Key Responsibilities

  • Collect quote request data and create RFP/RFQ documents for carrier distribution.
  • Transform and organize census data into Warner Pacific templates and carrier-specific formats as required.
  • Maintain comprehensive records and notes on accounts using Salesforce and other internal systems.
  • Develop comparative spreadsheet illustrations employing Warner Pacific templates, RFQ tools, and agency partner formats as necessary.
  • Acquire knowledge of market dynamics, carriers, plans, benefits, and networks to recommend coverage options with the same or alternative carriers.
  • Ensure the accuracy of rate and plan benefit data during the preparation of comparative illustrations.
  • Review all data within templates for accuracy before distribution to stakeholders.
  • Identify potential workflow enhancements and communicate suggestions to supervisors.
  • Engage in and complete additional departmental projects as assigned efficiently and collaboratively.
  • Respond to all internal and external communications promptly, ideally within four hours of receipt.

Additional Skills and Requirements

  • High school diploma, GED, or equivalent is required.
  • Exceptional interpersonal and communication skills, both written and oral.
  • Strong proofreading abilities and meticulous attention to detail.
  • Ability to remain composed in high-pressure situations.
  • Effective prioritization of tasks.
  • High degree of accuracy in data entry tasks.
  • Capability to manage phone and email communications simultaneously.
  • Self-motivated with the ability to work independently and collaboratively.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office, particularly intermediate to advanced Excel skills.
  • Typing speed of at least 40 words per minute.
  • Physical ability to sit for extended periods, lift a minimum of 5 pounds, and perform filing and reaching tasks.
  • Valid state life/health insurance license is required for advancement to Multi-Market Support Specialist II.

Compensation and Benefits

  • Hourly Range: $27.26 per hour.
  • Compensation may vary based on experience, education, and skill level.
