Position Overview:

Industrial Maintenance Technician | Immediate Openings

Shift Availability:

8-hour shifts with a rotating schedule

Work Days: Monday to Friday

Shift Times:

Day Shift: 7 AM - 3 PM Evening Shift: 3 PM - 11 PM

Rotation between shifts is mandatory.

Compensation Package:

  • Competitive starting wage of $40.36 per hour

Key Responsibilities:

The Industrial Maintenance Technician is a skilled role requiring specialized training in electrical design, installation, troubleshooting, maintenance, and repair work. Candidates must demonstrate strong leadership skills and maintain a consistent attendance record.

Essential Duties:

  • Execute tasks requiring a comprehensive understanding of electrical theory, NEC, material properties, and operational principles of electrical equipment. Ensure safe machine activation and shutdown in compliance with company and OSHA safety protocols.
  • Utilize electrical testing equipment (voltmeters, amp meters, oscilloscopes, etc.) to identify defects in wiring, switches, motors, and other electrical components.
  • Troubleshoot complex circuits and systems, including AC and DC drive systems, and communicate with manufacturers for programming.
  • Diagnose and repair high-voltage systems and low-voltage control circuits.
  • Service electronic equipment by testing and replacing faulty components and circuits.
  • Install and repair electrical systems, including conduits, transformers, and switches, using appropriate tools.
  • Fabricate non-commercial parts using machine and hand tools.
  • Read and interpret mechanical prints and technical data for equipment installation and repair.
  • Participate in training and skill development of maintenance personnel and production associates.
  • Engage in plant emergencies as required and maintain necessary certifications.
  • Perform additional duties as needed.

Qualifications:

  • Minimum of five years of industrial experience in equipment installation, maintenance, and repair.
  • Ability to independently machine parts using lathes and milling machines.
  • Proficient in reading blueprints and schematics to diagnose equipment failures.
  • Experience with precision equipment alignments and fabrication techniques.
  • Must maintain a positive job performance and attendance record.
  • Ability to work rotating shifts, overtime, and weekends as required.
