In this role, you will oversee the management, direct supervision, and coordination of both clinical and nonclinical management personnel, including utilization management and intensive care management teams, providing specialized knowledge in designated programs.
You will conduct care management review activities in alignment with established policies, procedures, and standards.
Your role will also involve recruiting, interviewing, and selecting qualified candidates while ensuring they receive proper orientation.
Regular performance monitoring of care management personnel will be essential.
You will track adherence to efficiency targets for all staff, including case volume, closure rates, average handling time, and other relevant metrics.
Supervision of care management staff will be conducted through approved auditing processes, including annual performance reviews and necessary counseling or disciplinary actions.
You will coordinate quality improvement initiatives under the guidance of clinical management.Additionally, you will assist in formulating strategic and operational objectives and plans.
Identifying and coordinating essential clinical and client service training needs will also be part of your responsibilities.
You will analyze specific utilization challenges and implement solutions that enhance care quality and cost-effectiveness.
Supervision of the collection of relevant clinical information while maintaining strong relationships with providers will be crucial.

Minimum of 5 years of post-degree experience in a direct care clinical environment; managed care experience is preferred.
One or more of the following current, active licenses are required: BCBA, LCSW, LMFT, LMSW, LPCC, LPC, PC, or RN.
If you are an RN, a BSN is preferred, although an ASN may be considered with additional experience.In-depth knowledge of physical, medical specialty, and/or mental health community resources and providers is necessary.
Comprehensive understanding of healthcare services in physical health, behavioral health, or other medical specialty areas is required based on pod management.
Significant skill in interpreting clinical treatment information and making appropriate referral and triage decisions is essential.
You must meet the credentialing criteria for RN, Masters, or Doctoral level providers.

This information reflects the anticipated base salary range for this position based on current national data. Minimums and maximums may vary based on location. Actual pay will be adjusted based on an individual's skills, experience, education, and other job-related factors permitted by law.
This position may be eligible for short-term incentives as well as a comprehensive benefits package.
