JOB DESCRIPTION
The Retail Operations Supervisor plays a crucial role in overseeing the daily operations of the store in the absence of the Store Manager, while also providing essential support to the Store Manager in all facets of store management. The Supervisor will analyze business performance, including profitability, and strategize for ongoing enhancements. This role involves managing inventory and ensuring that all team members deliver exceptional customer service. A comprehensive benefits package, including health insurance and 401K options, will be available.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
*Includes, but is not limited to:
- Facilitate a welcoming shopping environment for all patrons.
- Address customer inquiries, concerns, and complaints promptly and effectively.
- Implement the PMG training program for all Customer Service Associates (CSAs) and conduct hands-on training to enhance operational competencies.
- Oversee daily task assignments and performance evaluations for all team members. Assist with all aspects related to Customer Service Associates and the store team, including recruitment, onboarding, training, coaching, and performance management.
- Delegate responsibilities and follow up as necessary.
- Provide guidance, assignments, motivation, and coaching for team members.
- Monitor and assess business processes and outcomes to achieve store objectives profitably.
- Manage cash handling and lottery operations.
- Conduct work with Integrity, Honesty, and Respect.
- Assist the Store Manager with various tasks and assignments as needed.
QUALIFICATIONS
- Experience in managing and directing teams.
- Availability for a minimum of 45 hours per week.
- Flexible schedule based on business requirements, including potential shifts on weekends and holidays.
- Reliable transportation is essential.
- Exemplary customer service skills.
- Ability to work independently with minimal supervision.
- Proficient in conflict resolution and addressing customer and associate issues.
- Strong communication skills.
- Familiarity with Microsoft Word, Excel, and Outlook.
- Goal-oriented with exceptional organizational skills.
- Capability to lift and carry up to 35 lbs.
