Join our team as a Food Service Supervisor at Holy Cross Health, a Catholic, not-for-profit health system serving over 240,000 individuals each year. As a Food Service Supervisor, you will oversee operations in the retail, patient services, or production area, supporting the respective manager and Chef as needed.

Responsibilities:
  • Supervise staff throughout their assigned shift, ensuring quality, service excellence, and adherence to policies and procedures.
  • Meet the needs of guests and patients by ensuring sufficient quantities of food and stock during periods of operations.
  • Responsible for daily supervision of staff, including staff schedules, cash handling, and training staff.
  • Supervise resource monitoring and staffing for a specific department function or shift, and prioritize workload to achieve optimal service and resource use.
  • Ensure departmental and organizational policies are consistently communicated and practiced within the area of responsibility.
  • Primary management contact for staff concerns and oversee communication of organizational objectives to staff.
Requirements:
  • High school diploma or equivalent.
  • Two (2) years experience in institutional food service, including at least one year of food and nutrition supervisory experience.

Pay is based on experience, skills, and education. Exempt positions under the Fair Labor Standards Act (FLSA) will be paid within the base salary equivalent of the stated hourly rates. The pay range may also vary within the stated range based on location.
