At Piedmont Augusta Hospital, we're looking for a skilled Sterilization Department Lead to join our team.

The estimated salary for this position is $60,000 - $80,000 per year, depending on experience and location.

This leadership role requires someone with expertise in sterilization procedures, staff management, and quality control. As a Central Sterile Tech, you'll be responsible for maintaining high standards of cleanliness and safety in the department. Your responsibilities will include:

  • Maintaining accurate records of sterilization processes
  • Leading daily operations and ensuring efficient workflow
  • Training and supervising staff members
  • Developing and implementing quality control measures

You'll work closely with other departments, such as customer service, technical staff, and medical staff, to ensure seamless communication and coordination.

To be successful in this role, you'll need:

  • A high school diploma or equivalent
  • Three years of experience in central service processing or operating room procedural support
  • Certification as a Central Service Processing Technician or Operating Room Technician
