The Department of Veterans Affairs is a leading healthcare provider in the country, and our medical center in Augusta offers state-of-the-art facilities and innovative programs. We are seeking an experienced Cardiologist to join our team and provide top-notch care to our patients.

The ideal candidate will have expertise in managing and treating congestive heart failure patients, as well as experience in supervision of trainees. They should also be skilled in the performance, supervision, and interpretation of advanced cardiac imaging studies, including nuclear cardiology, transthoracic and trans-esophageal echocardiography.

We offer a comprehensive benefits package, including a competitive salary range of $300k-$360k per year. The successful candidate will also be eligible for an academic appointment at the level of Clinical Assistant Professor at Augusta University School of Medicine. In this role, you will be responsible for providing a broad range of inpatient and outpatient Cardiology services, including staffing inpatient teaching rounds, inpatient consultation, and outpatient clinic. You will also be required to work as an attending physician, supervising assigned Cardiology nurse practitioners, Cardiology Fellows, medical students, and residents rotating on cardiology services.
