Overview of the Role

We are seeking a skilled Administrative Assistant to join our team in the Physician Practice. In this role, you will play a vital part in facilitating the daily operations of our office.

Key Responsibilities
  • Answer and direct phone calls in a professional manner.
  • Schedule appointments for patients with our physicians.
  • Manage physician correspondence, ensuring timely and efficient communication.
  • Prepare patient charts for visits, maintaining accurate and up-to-date records.
  • Contact insurance companies for referrals and authorizations, resolving any issues promptly.
  • Provide assistance to patients with various tasks, demonstrating empathy and excellent interpersonal skills.
Requirements and Qualifications

To succeed in this role, you should possess:

  • A High School diploma or GED; an Associate's degree or completion of a related specialty program is preferred.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook).
  • Excellent written and oral communication skills to effectively interact with patients, colleagues, and external parties.
  • The ability to multitask, work efficiently, and maintain accuracy in a fast-paced environment.
  • Knowledge of medical terminology is desirable but not required.
Compensation and Benefits

We offer a competitive salary range of $22.05 to $29.40 per hour, based on qualifications, location, and experience.
