Job Overview

A dedicated and compassionate New York Neonatal Nurse is sought by TotalMed Staffing to provide high-quality care in a Neonatal setting. The ideal candidate will have the ability to assess, monitor, and manage neonates while collaborating with a team of healthcare professionals.

This role involves providing specialized nursing care to newborns in Neonatal Intensive Care Units (NICUs) or other Neonatal settings. The successful candidate will possess excellent communication and adaptability skills, allowing them to effectively collaborate with healthcare team members and educate parents on newborn care, breastfeeding techniques, and neonatal health issues.

We offer a competitive salary of $96,947.28 per year, which translates to approximately $2,417.44 per week. This attractive compensation package reflects the high demand for skilled Neonatal Nurses in the New York area.

Key Responsibilities
  • Provide specialized nursing care to newborns in Neonatal Intensive Care Units (NICUs) or other Neonatal settings.
  • Assess neonates' health status, monitor vital signs, and administer medications and treatments as prescribed.
  • Collaborate with healthcare team members to develop and implement individualized care plans for neonates and their families.
  • Educate parents on newborn care, breastfeeding techniques, and neonatal health issues.

Requirements
  • Current RN license.
  • BLS certification (additional certifications may be required).
  • Two years of recent Neonatal RN experience.
  • Strong communication and adaptability skills.
