Instructor Caregiver for Day Program

We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Instructor Caregiver to join our team at Redwood Family Care Network. As an Instructor Caregiver, you will play a vital role in supporting individuals with developmental disabilities to achieve their goals and live fulfilling lives.
Job Summary:The Instructor Caregiver will provide direct support to individuals with developmental disabilities, promoting their health, safety, and well-being. This includes assisting with daily living activities, vocational training, and recreational activities. The ideal candidate will be passionate about making a positive impact in the lives of others and possess excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
Responsibilities:- Develop and implement daily routines for clients, ensuring their needs are met and goals are achieved.
- Assist clients with daily living activities, such as bathing, dressing, and grooming.
- Prepare and serve meals, and assist with clean-up.
- Support clients with vocational training and recreational activities.
- Transport clients to and from activities, as needed.
- Participate in client assessment, planning, and evaluation processes.
- Maintain accurate records and reports, as required.
- 1 year of experience supporting adults with developmental disabilities.
- Must be at least 21 years of age.
- Must have a California Driver's License.
- Candidate must successfully pass all pre-employment requirements, including a background check.
- Direct Support Professional Certificate (Year 1 & Year 2) or willingness to obtain within the first 6 months of hire.
- CPI (Crisis Prevention Intervention) or willingness to obtain within the first 6 months of hire.
- First Aid/CPR certification.
