Instructor Caregiver for Day Program-Pasadena

Join Redwood Family Care Network, a leading provider of person-centered home and community-based services, as a Day Program Instructor Caregiver. We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate individual to support individuals with developmental disabilities in our Day Program.
About the Role:The Day Program Instructor Caregiver will be responsible for creating and implementing daily routines for clients, promoting their health, safety, and well-being. This role requires a strong advocate for our clients, ensuring their needs are met and their rights are respected.
Key Responsibilities:- Develop and implement daily routines for clients, aligning with their Individual Program Plans.
- Assist clients with daily living activities, including bathroom needs and personal care.
- Prepare and serve meals, ensuring a safe and clean environment.
- Support clients in vocational and daily living activities, promoting independence and skill development.
- Transport clients to and from their homes or facilities, as needed.
- Participate in client assessment, planning, and evaluation processes, ensuring the highest quality of care.
- Maintain accurate records of client progress and communicate with supervisors as needed.
- Attend regular staff meetings and participate in ongoing education and training.
- 1 year of experience supporting adults with developmental disabilities.
- Must be at least 21 years old and have a valid California Driver's License.
- Candidates must pass a background check and obtain necessary certifications, including Direct Support Professional Certificate and CPI (Crisis Prevention Intervention).
- First Aid and CPR certification required.
