Account Manager Job Summary

The TEAMLINX LLLP Multimedia team is a dynamic, fast-paced team that thrives on collaboration and teamwork. As an Account Manager, you will develop new accounts and help maintain current enterprise accounts, expanding our geographical service area and contributing to the growth of TEAMLINX. This position will be focused on the Multimedia division.

About TEAMLINX: We specialize in the design, installation, and support of commercial network cabling, multimedia, security, and wireless systems - connecting people to information, support, and their communities in the digital age. Founded in 2003, TEAMLINX is a company built by industry professionals committed to creating a team environment despite company growth.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop new Multimedia accounts by getting to the appropriate stakeholders, prequalifying TEAMLINX as a vendor, developing opportunities, and closing business
  • Grow existing Multimedia accounts by increasing win rate, expanding geographical service area, or expanding Lines of Business (LOBs) offering
  • Forecast sales pipeline using TEAMLINX's CRM tool to provide an accurate, up-to-date snapshot of the sales funnel at any given moment in time
  • Create and refine customer account plans to provide a basis of understanding surrounding any given account, what we know of it, and the strategy we are taking to develop it
  • Document meeting notes in the OneNote notebooks so we have a record of our meetings, and that record is shared amongst the entire team to increase acumen and effectiveness

Requirements:

  • Ability to work as part of a high-performing, multi-disciplinary team, under tight deadlines
  • Ability to influence and sell to customers both internally and externally to achieve results
  • Knowledge of the manufacturer/distributor/contractor ecosystem and the skills to influence it accordingly
  • CRM skills with one of the major CRM platforms such as Salesforce, Dynamics, or NetSuite
  • Construction drawing skills using Bluebeam REVU

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Previous inside or outside sales experience
  • Effective time management, organization, and multi-tasking skills
  • Strong people skills to deal with customers and prospects
  • Very good team player and should work well under pressure
  • Self-motivated and enthusiastic
  • Able to cold call and qualify projects and identify key decision makers
  • Strong communication skills both written and verbal
  • Experience selling into large key/strategic/global accounts
  • History of managing large enterprise accounts with annual quota expectation
  • Proficient in Microsoft Word, Excel, and Outlook
  • Highly experienced in sales forecasting process using CRM and other sales planning tools

Travel: Occasional out-of-state travel. Consistent travel is required throughout the state of Colorado, Wyoming, and Nebraska. Occasional travel for trade shows/networking events/etc.

Compensation: $70,000 - $80,000 / year based on experience. Commission estimate: $20,000 - $40,000 based on quota achievement in the first year (uncapped commission structure)
