About the Role

We're seeking a dedicated and compassionate individual to join our team at Paws Plaza. As an Animal Care Attendant, you'll be responsible for providing top-notch care to our pet guests, including sanitizing and disinfecting enclosures, preparing food and fresh water, and monitoring their overall health and safety.

Responsibilities
  • Supports the Mission, Vision, and Values of Destination Pet LLC
  • Sanitizes and disinfects pet enclosures and general boarding areas
  • Provides clean bedding and fresh water to each pet guest
  • Maintains accurate records of consumption and elimination of each pet guest
  • Monitors pets for safety and well-being throughout the day
  • Cleans and maintains food preparation areas
  • Performs daily laundering of pet bedding and towels
Requirements
  • Must be a pet enthusiast with a strong passion for animal care
  • Professional animal care or kennel experience preferred
  • Displays a professional manner at all times
Physical Demands
  • Frequently lifts 40 pounds
  • Must be able to stand, walk, and climb stairs frequently
  • Must be able to handle dogs on leashes
  • Must be able to work in an environment with exposure to disinfectant/sanitation chemicals, animal dander, and excretions
Benefits

We offer a competitive hourly rate of $16.00 - $16.50, depending on experience. Additionally, we provide part-time health insurance, mental health support, and telehealth services to support your overall well-being.
