Job Title: Assistant Campus Ministry Director

International Friendships, Inc. (IFI) is a faith-based organization seeking a highly motivated and dedicated individual to serve as an Assistant Campus Ministry Director. This role is a key part of our Central Ohio ministry team and requires the candidate to live in Columbus, OH.

Job Summary:

The Assistant Campus Ministry Director will support the Campus Ministry Director in overseeing a campus ministry team, providing administrative guidance, communication of strategic and mission-based focus, and supervision of campus staff. This position involves developing and maintaining financial and prayer partnerships, taking part in direct ministry, and ensuring discipleship is the center of campus ministry focus.

Responsibilities:
  • Support the Campus Ministry Director in providing administrative guidance and communication of strategic and mission-based focus.
  • Develop and maintain financial and prayer partnerships for the budgeted needs of the role.
  • Take part in direct ministry, such as discipling international students, participating/leading a Bible study for international students, and participating in cultural activities.
  • Ensure discipleship is the center of campus ministry focus by overseeing the tracking of student discipleship progress.
  • Maintain good relationships with the university, ministry partners, and student organizations.
Qualifications:
  • Adherence to IFI's statement of faith, core values, and policies.
  • Godly character that follows the examples defined in I Timothy 3 and Titus 1.
  • Well-organized with attention to detail and ability to complete tasks independently.
  • Ability to work under stress and be flexible.
  • Proficient with technology, including Microsoft Office and Google applications.
  • Ability to hold themselves and others accountable.
Preferred Qualifications:
  • Minimum of a Bachelor degree, preferably in a ministry-related field.
  • Minimum of five years of evangelical and cross-cultural ministry experience.
  • Minimum of three years of work experience managing a team of 5 or more people.
  • Certificate-level completion of Perspectives on the World Christian Movement is preferred and, if not existent, should be completed within three years of employment with IFI.
