Job Summary

We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Water/Wastewater Engineer to join our team as a Section Head. As a key member of our engineering team, you will be responsible for delivering project objectives, coordinating with clients and stakeholders, and developing and leading a water/wastewater engineering practice in the region.

Key Responsibilities
  • Develop and implement project management plans, establish project pricing and budgets, and create and maintain project schedules.
  • Develop and coordinate project scope, manage sub-consultants, and participate in client presentations.
  • Oversee and manage assigned staff working on projects, manage all technical resources on the project team, and develop extra work order requests and open-end contract task proposals.
  • Coordinate and assist Section Heads, Office Managers, and Practice Leaders with marketing proposals.
Requirements
  • Bachelor's degree from an ABET accredited engineering program.
  • Professional Engineer License (TN or ability to obtain through reciprocity preferred).
  • 12-25 years' experience in Water/Wastewater Engineering, with experience working with Tennessee-based clients at the city, county, and state level.
  • Project management and business development experience, with experience managing multidiscipline project teams.
Working Conditions

Work is performed within a general office environment 95% of the time. Work is generally sedentary in nature, but may require occasional standing and walking. Field work is required on occasion where work may be conducted outside in heat/cold, wet/humid, and dry/arid conditions. Some lifting (up to 25 lbs) may be required as needed.
