Job Responsibilities
  • Analyze, design, document, and test application development standards, procedures, and processes for modification, upgrade, or changes to application products/systems, including telecommunications network cables and infrastructure for IT at the property.
  • Oversee projects assigned by the company's home office team and property's General Manager, including tracking project timeline, budget, and expenses.
  • Consult with user groups to assess and determine their needs for the property.
  • Assist with interviewing, selecting, training, and managing the day-to-day operations of the IT team.
  • Oversee voice resources and upgrades for the property, including working with vendors at the property.
  • Serve in a rotating on-call capacity for after-hours/non-business hours support, responding to issues arising with managed systems and users.
  • Oversee application upgrades, including necessary hardware and operating systems.
  • Oversee evaluations and monitor application vendor service performance and/or vendor product performance to ensure availability of optimal system environments.
  • Oversee network security, which includes restricting company access to certain websites, maintaining virus protection software, and employing other high-tech security measures to safeguard the company's information and ensure employees are in compliance with the Company Network security policy.
  • Ensure departmental support is provided for ancillary field operations systems such as credit card processing, timekeeping/labor reporting/labor forecasting, point of sale operations/reporting for reservations, F&B, retail, maintenance management systems, disaster recovery planning, and energy management systems.
  • Plan and coordinate the daily workflow of Help Desk Operations.
