About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Physician to join our team at University Hospitals Pain Management. As a Hospitalist, you will be responsible for providing high-quality patient care and managing the daily operations of our medical program.

Key Responsibilities
  • Provide direct medical evaluation, diagnosis, and treatment for patients within our recognized area of practice.
  • Prescribe pharmaceuticals and other medications as appropriate to assessed medical conditions.
  • Refer patients to specialists and relevant patient care components as needed.
  • Train and supervise medical students and residents in specialty activities and procedures.
  • Manage the daily operations of our medical program, including directing and coordinating patient care activities.
  • Follow established departmental policies, procedures, and objectives, as well as safety, environmental, and infection control standards.
Requirements
  • Doctorate Degree in Medicine or Osteopathy with an unrestricted license.
  • Appointment with Case Western Reserve University School of Medicine at the level commensurate with experience.
  • Fellowship training in some specialties.
Preferred Qualifications
  • Knowledge of legal and ethical standards for the delivery of medical care.
  • Ability to maintain quality, safety, and infection control standards.
  • Knowledge of community medical diagnostic and patient care services in area of medical expertise.
  • Ability to supervise, advise, and train clinical professionals and/or students in area of expertise.
Working Conditions

This position requires standing, walking, and lifting frequently, as well as sitting, pushing, and pulling occasionally. The ability to work in a fast-paced environment and maintain a high level of accuracy and attention to detail is essential.
