About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced HR Coordinator to join our team at Georgia Tech. As an HR Coordinator, you will play a critical role in providing professional-level support for human resources functions within our unit.

Key Responsibilities
  • Serve as a unit-level contact for HR-related processes and procedures
  • Review and coordinate the process of hiring requests from unit management
  • Coordinate activities associated with employee onboarding and orientation
  • Initiate and/or process HR-related documentation
  • Respond to inquiries regarding Institute and departmental HR policies and procedures
  • Gather and coordinate dissemination of information regarding new or revised HR-related policies and procedures within the unit
  • Review and recommend revision to unit-level HR processes as appropriate
  • Oversee employee record maintenance and transactions
Requirements

To be successful in this role, you will need:

  • A high school diploma, GED Certificate, or Vocational School Diploma
  • At least six to seven years of job-related experience
Preferred Qualifications

We also welcome applicants with:

  • A Bachelor's Degree, Technical Diploma, Associate's Degree, or two years of college coursework
  • PHR/SPHR certification
