Position Summary:
We are seeking a highly skilled and detail-oriented Financial Controller with expertise in Property Accounting and a comprehensive understanding of Yardi Voyager. In this pivotal role, you will oversee the financial management and reporting of our real estate assets, collaborating with external auditors to ensure compliance with accounting standards and regulations.

Key Responsibilities:

Financial Management and Reporting:
- Supervise the preparation of precise and timely financial statements, budgets, and forecasts for our real estate assets.
- Ensure adherence to GAAP and other regulatory requirements in all financial reporting.
- Leverage Yardi Voyager to optimize financial systems and processes for effective property management.

Property Accounting:
- Oversee all facets of property accounting, including accounts payable, accounts receivable, general ledger entries, and month-end/year-end closing processes.
- Conduct regular reviews and reconciliations of financial data to guarantee accuracy and completeness.
- Analyze financial performance of properties, providing insights and recommendations for enhancement.

Audit and Compliance:
- Coordinate and facilitate external audits, ensuring all requisite documentation and information are available.
- Develop and implement internal controls to protect company assets and ensure compliance with financial policies.

Team Leadership and Collaboration:
- Lead and mentor a team of property accountants, fostering a collaborative and high-performance work environment.
- Collaborate with property management, asset management, and other departments to support the overall financial objectives of the company.
- Serve as a primary contact for financial inquiries related to the properties.

Qualifications:
- Proven experience as a Property Controller or in a similar property accounting leadership role within the real estate sector.
- Expertise in utilizing Yardi Voyager at the enterprise level, with a strong grasp of its financial modules and capabilities.
- Comprehensive knowledge of GAAP, real estate accounting principles, and financial reporting standards.
- Exceptional analytical, organizational, and problem-solving skills.
- Strong leadership and team management capabilities.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- CPA or other relevant advanced degree or certification is preferred.
