Job Summary

We're seeking a Product Support Engineer to join our Airside Product Support team. As a trusted partner with Trane account managers and Airside Product Growth Team, you'll enable the sales of Airside products through cross-functional knowledge sharing, complex problem-solving, and innovative decision-making.

Key Responsibilities
  • Act as a subject matter expert through technical and application knowledge of Airside products.
  • Collaborate with internal or external customers in areas such as technical Airside equipment understanding and systems application, customer specification, bill of materials review, and pricing questions.
  • Support testing and improvement of our equipment selection system, Trane Select Assist.
  • Engage in customer visit process at Columbia facility, including direct support or host duties for assigned visits.
  • Partner with Sr. Product Support Team Members and Product Management team to deliver sales channel training, provide voice of customer, and support commercialization efforts for new or modified product launches.
Requirements
  • Bachelor's degree in engineering or another related technical field.
  • One to two years of experience within industrial or manufacturing sector, preferably in product management, engineering, marketing/sales, field support, or manufacturing operations.
  • Tactful and assertive leadership skills to effectively interact with the field (account managers, sales assistants, customers).
  • Ability to recognize developing situations to react and diffuse potential problems.
  • Solid organization skills and flexibility to handle a variety of tasks and projects.
