Senior Lighting Artist

Yotta Games is seeking a highly skilled Senior Lighting Artist to join our R&D team in Los Angeles. As a key member of our team, you will collaborate with artists, designers, and engineers to create breathtaking game environments and cutscenes.
Responsibilities:
- Design and implement lighting for game worlds, taking into account gameplay, narrative, and overall game feel.
- Work closely with level, mission, and narrative designers to ensure cohesive visuals and player experience.
- Adjust in-game lighting to meet artistic directions and artist requests.
- Utilize lighting system tools to streamline processes and optimize performance.
- Collaborate with the Cinematic Director to create stunning cutscenes.
- Share knowledge and expertise with team members to elevate the team's lighting capabilities.
Requirements:
- 5+ years of experience in lighting, with a strong portfolio of AAA game credits.
- Familiarity with Unreal Engine 5 and 3D software, particularly Lumen in UE5.
- Deep understanding of lighting principles, including light, color, source, brightness, and shadow.
- Stay up-to-date with the latest lighting technologies and techniques.
- Excellent communication and teamwork skills.
- Passion for the game industry and a commitment to excellence.
