Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Primary Care Pod Medical Director to lead our clinical teams in the East Bay region. As a key member of our leadership team, you will be responsible for overseeing the clinical operations of our primary care clinics, ensuring high-quality patient care, and driving business performance.

Key Responsibilities
  • Leadership and Clinical Operations
    • Oversee the clinical teams in the East Bay region, ensuring high-quality patient care and adherence to company standards.
    • Develop and implement clinical strategies to improve patient outcomes and drive business performance.
    • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure seamless integration of clinical and operational processes.
  • Quality Management
    • Develop and implement quality improvement initiatives to enhance patient care and satisfaction.
    • Monitor and analyze clinical data to identify areas for improvement and develop strategies to address them.
    • Collaborate with clinical teams to ensure compliance with regulatory requirements and company policies.
  • Financial Management
    • Develop and manage budgets for clinical operations, ensuring financial sustainability and growth.
    • Monitor and analyze financial data to identify areas for cost reduction and process improvement.
    • Collaborate with finance teams to ensure accurate and timely financial reporting.
  • Human Resources
    • Recruit, train, and develop clinical teams to ensure high-quality patient care and business performance.
    • Collaborate with HR teams to ensure compliance with company policies and regulatory requirements.
    • Develop and implement employee engagement strategies to enhance job satisfaction and retention.
  • Communication and Collaboration
    • Develop and maintain effective communication channels with clinical teams, leadership, and stakeholders.
    • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure seamless integration of clinical and operational processes.
    • Represent Carbon Health in the community, ensuring a positive reputation and brand image.
Requirements
  • Education and Experience
    • Active MD, DO, NP, or PA license, board certified or board eligible.
    • Minimum 4 years of experience in primary care setting.
    • At least 2 years of leading primary care teams in the practice setting.
  • Skills and Qualifications
    • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
    • Strong leadership and management skills.
    • Ability to analyze complex data and develop strategies to improve patient care and business performance.
    • Knowledge of regulatory requirements and company policies.
