Job Summary

Key Responsibilities
  • Take food and beverage orders from guests and retrieve and serve orders in a timely and efficient manner.
  • Collect payments from guests and maintain a high level of cash handling accuracy.
  • Prepare and serve specialty dishes and beverages, including hot and cold drinks, and wine.
  • Present menus to guests and answer questions about menu items, making recommendations upon request.
  • Clean and maintain the dining area, including tables, chairs, and floors.
  • Assist with food preparation, including preparing salads, appetizers, and cold dishes.
  • Perform other duties as assigned by management, including assisting with banquet events and special functions.
Requirements
  • High School Graduate or General Education Degree (GED) or equivalent experience.
  • Previous experience in food and beverage service, preferably in a hotel or restaurant setting.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with guests and colleagues.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and multitask with ease.
  • Knowledge of wine and spirits, with the ability to make recommendations to guests.
  • Ability to lift up to 25 pounds and stand for long periods of time.
Preferred Qualifications
  • Certification in liquor, wine, and food service.
  • Previous experience with point-of-sale systems and property management software.
