Position Description & Details

SUMMARY OF POSITION:

Responsibilities encompass instructing undergraduate courses within the agricultural pathways. Teaching responsibilities will occur in-person during weekdays. Additional tasks include timely submission of grades and other responsibilities as designated by the Assistant Dean and the Dean of Current and Emerging Technologies.

Minimum Requirements
  • Relevant master's degree or a comparable combination of education and professional experience.
  • Strong interpersonal, written, and verbal communication abilities.
  • High attention to detail and capacity to manage multiple deadlines.
  • Proficient in computer software applications (e.g., Microsoft Office Suite-Word, Excel, Teams, etc., Outlook Email and Calendar) and adept with internet navigation.
  • Ability to articulate and endorse the college's mission with a strong dedication to polytechnic education and learning.
Preferred Qualifications
  • Experience in higher education teaching.
  • Familiarity with distance/online education, academic assessment, dual credit/early entry, and prior learning.
  • Industry-related experience.
  • Relevant doctoral degree.
