Job Description

Overview

We are seeking a skilled Diesel Service Technician to join our team at Butler Machinery Company. As a family-owned business, we value our employees and provide a supportive environment for growth and development.

Responsibilities

  • Perform routine maintenance, diagnostics, and repairs on agricultural equipment and systems.
  • Troubleshoot complex issues within diesel technology systems and componentry, including hydraulics, electrical, and power trains.
  • Work independently and as part of a high-performing team to ensure efficient and effective equipment operation.
  • Proactively maintain a safe and clean work environment, adhering to industry standards and company policies.
  • Collaborate with colleagues to achieve team goals and objectives.
  • Stay up-to-date with industry developments and product updates through ongoing training and professional development.
  • Lift up to 70 pounds and travel to other Butler and customer locations as needed.

Requirements

  • Ability to provide exceptional customer service and work well with minimal supervision.
  • Proficient computer technology skills and strong organizational abilities.
  • Preferred degree or certificate in a related field or equivalent applicable experience.
  • Valid work authorization and ability to work in the U.S. without company sponsorship.
