Job Overview

Broyhill Equipment LLC, a leading manufacturer of agricultural and industrial equipment, is seeking an experienced Engineering Manager to lead the design and development of new products and improvements to existing ones.

The ideal candidate will have a strong background in engineering and industrial technology, with expertise in CAD design, prototyping, and manufacturing process improvement. Experience with Inventor and AutoCAD software, as well as Microsoft Office and Open Systems Accounting Software (OSAS), is highly desirable.

The successful candidate will be responsible for:

  • Directing daily engineering duties, including drafting and shop tech tasks
  • Designing new equipment and improving or modifying existing products
  • Creating and printing shop drawings for fabrication, welding, and assembly
  • Providing technical support via phone and email
  • Developing owner's manuals, layouts, and instructions
  • Conducting product demos and trade shows
  • Developing nesting programs for plasma tables
  • Identifying new methods of manufacturing and assembly to increase profitability
  • Sourcing quality, affordable components for use in product lines
  • Creating and updating Bills of Materials in OSAS
  • Searching for and obtaining replacement components for obsolete purchased parts
  • Prototyping new products and changes or retrofits of existing products
  • Assembling products for fit and function testing
  • Testing new products and components

The successful candidate will have a strong understanding of agricultural, automotive, and hydraulic systems, as well as fabrication and welding experience. A degree in engineering or industrial technology is required, and multi-tasking skills are essential.
