Job Title: Assistant General Manager

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Assistant General Manager to join our team at Cannapidiensary. As a key member of our management team, you will play a critical role in ensuring the smooth operation of our retail dispensary.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Support the Executive Team in ensuring all daily operating procedures are performed as required.
  • Oversee the implementation of our company's vision and mission.
  • Adhere to company SOP and compliance rules extensively.
  • Supervise staff and oversee standards, controls, systems, and procedures to assure the quality of the organization.
  • Hold employees accountable for their role and duties.
  • Explore opportunities for growth of business.
  • Support Executive Team in organizational change and growth.
  • Supervise, manage, and direct the activities of sales team.
  • Manage and inspire staff to deliver the highest level of customer service and satisfaction.
  • Ensure compliance with applicable local, state/provincial, and federal laws and regulations.
  • Assist with customer service and ensure customer satisfaction.
  • Maintain in-depth knowledge of all strains and products in store inventory as well as industry-wide product and trend knowledge.
  • Assist in hiring, training new employees, and employee performance reviews.
  • Responsible for all time and attendance processes, including schedule creation, staff coverage planning, and hours approval.
  • Co-ordinates and assists with proper receiving, storing, and order fulfillment process, ensuring compliance to company standards.
  • Oversees performance measures, provides performance feedback, and ensures that work standards are met.
Requirements:
  • Education: A Bachelor's Degree preferred.
  • 2+ years of experience in a management position.
  • Must be results-oriented with demonstrated expertise in team building, communications, problem-solving, governance, community relations, and culture-building and proactive management style.
  • Ability to multitask and work well in a fast-paced environment.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office and basic computer skills, with an emphasis on POS systems, iPad technology, and inventory management software.
  • Knowledge of Massachusetts cannabis industry and guidelines set forth by CCC.
  • Minimum 21 years of age.
  • Must pass any and all required background checks.
