Job Summary

We are seeking a highly motivated and compassionate Employment Specialist to join our team at Nevins, Inc. As a key member of our staff, you will play a vital role in supporting individuals with intellectual and developmental disabilities in achieving their employment goals.

Your primary responsibility will be to assess the needs, strengths, and preferences of our clients and develop personalized employment plans to help them succeed in the workforce.

You will work closely with employers, applicants, and individuals to establish relationships, provide job training, and ensure compliance with procedures and safety regulations.

As an Employment Specialist, you will have the opportunity to make a meaningful difference in the lives of our clients and their families.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Assess client needs and develop personalized employment plans
  • Establish relationships with employers and applicants
  • Provide job training and support services
  • Ensure compliance with procedures and safety regulations
  • Transport clients as needed

Requirements:

  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • 1 year of experience in a related field
  • Ability to operate automated office machines and equipment
  • Ability to exert up to 50 pounds of force occasionally

Physical Requirements:

  • Must be able to operate a variety of automated office machines and other equipment
  • Must be able to exert up to 50 pounds of force occasionally
